Volunteer UCF Presents: Knights Give Back

Bright and early on Saturday, October 20th more than 40 students gathered at the Dressed in Hope sewing center as Volunteer UCF presented Knights Give Back. The event is held every year as part of Volunteer UCF's initiative to promote volunteerism in our community.

This was the first year Dressed in Hope participated in the event as one of the charities, and we couldn't have been more thrilled. The Village Walk sewing group welcomed our group with open arms and we quickly determined this was going to be an incredible experience.

We cut over 100 dresses, 75 purses, beaded beautiful necklaces, and created our very own dolls all for the children of impoverish countries. This marked the beginning of something wonderful coming to UCF. Dressed in Hope is here to stay, and from the results of Knights Give Back, we better find a bigger space to accommodate all our supporters. :)
